How does SunShift know my load shedding schedule?

The SunShift platform is integrated with the the widely used load shedding schedule app - Eskom se Push .

When adding your site during the SunShift quick start installation, the Xemote Mobile app will request access to your location to fetch your load shedding schedule. Once you have selected your load shedding area from the list of options in your location, SunShift will know what your load shedding schedule is and the current load shedding stage.
